Japan

Japan made a fantastic progression in their number of professional pornstars over the year 2011. Their number went from 236 to 776, a growth of ca. 228%. On this picture, Maria Ozawa.
Spain
Spain went from 56 to 116 pornstars over the same period, a growth of 98%. Here's Rebecca Linares.
Russia
After a phenomenal year in 2010, Russia continues on it's great launch in 2011 with a progression from 156 to 290 pornstars, which is ca. 90%. Here is Mandy Dee.
France
The number of French professional pornstars has gone from 118 to 208 over the year 2011, resulting in a 81% growth. This is Liza Del Sierra.
Argentina
Argentina has gone from 27 to 46 pornstars, a growth of 77%. Let me introduce you to Selena Castro, from Buenos Aires.
Other countries that did well:
Colombia: 69%
Cuba: 67%
Italy: 65%
Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark, Sweden): 56%
Brazil: 49%
Between 36% and 20%: Australia, Ukraine, the USA, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, China.
Between 19% and 5%: Czech Republic, Romania, the Netherlands, Thailand, Mexico, Canada, South Korea.
This figure here gives an idea of the recent evolutions of the international concurrence within the porn industry at the level of workforce (pornstars). This is the zone B of porn, as the zone A is composed by countries of the Big Five (the USA, Japan, Hungary, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic) that all have more that 500 professional pornstars today. It appears clearly that a country like Canada, that was actually close to being in the top 5 is currently loosing it's influence and leaving space for countries like Russia or France.
Here's the same figure for the zone A, excluding the USA that is far ahead with more than 4500 pornstars. Notice the explosion of Japanese porn since the middle of 2010 and the relative stagnation of the two Eastern European countries.
